Did you know? Limit the actions of a borrower with too much fines

In this new Did you know, we will see how to limit patron that own you too much fees because of their late on their holds.

To start you just have to connect on the Koha Staff Interface (username: test and password: test) and then go to Koha Administration> Global system preferences > Circulation.

Once in the Circulation area of the system preferences, the interesting parts for today are called maxoutstanding and noissuescharge.

These two system preferences allows you to limit the actions of a borrower with too much fees. In the example shown above, a patron with more than 30€ in fines will not be able to borrow or even make holds on books in your library. This incite him to pay faster its fines to use your services again.
