Our values

A caring company with strong and recognized values

A different company

All our customers will tell you: BibLibre is not a company like the others. We are proud of our benevolence. We are proud of our benevolence, both internally and externally. We are also proud of the various labels we have obtained. And as we are an Internet company, our working methods are adapted to our expertise: agile methods and teleworking.

Solidarity-based company

BibLibre has received the title of solidarity enterprise. This title rewards values defined by: the aim of service to the community or to members rather than the aim of profit, management autonomy, democratic and participatory management, the primacy of people and work over capital in the distribution of income and a territorial and/or sectoral anchorage.

Carbon footprint

We have decided to measure the impact of our activity on the environment as part of a continuous improvement process. A study of our consumption is underway, and we plan to modify our environmentally costly behaviours as best we can at the end of it.

Recognized values

BibLibre has been recognised as a Young Innovative Company by the State. This status highlights BibLibre’s effort in the research and development of open source software, as more than 15% of our expenses are related to R&D. (note: the JEI status ends 8 years after the creation of the company. BibLibre is now more than 10 years old and this status is no longer possible. However, we are continuing our R&D effort at the same level)

Agile methods: close to your needs

In order to offer you products that are always more relevant and adapted to your needs, our developers use the agile method to manage their customer development projects. Iterative development cycles ensure that the direction taken in developments is always in line with your needs and avoid costly waste of time while allowing more flexibility.

Telework

A majority of our employees work from home. This allows us to recruit the best talent, but also provides a quality of work that everyone appreciates. To enable us to build unity, we all meet four times a year.
