3 of us were in Mumbaï, India, for the KohaCon11.
We had an astonishing experience of 11 days in this country, that is so different…
For the conference itself, we were happy to see some well known people (Hello Brooke, Bob, Irma !), but also meet new people from india (Hello Kousthuba & tous les autres) or no (Hello Dobrika et Marijana -croatia-)
We made 4 presentations that you’ll find on our public document repository, at https://depot.biblibre.com/ppoulain/KohaCon11/ :
-
- Koha history. The presentation I made in 2010, i’ve modified a lot of things at the end
- Koha community organisation. A new presentation I also have made
- New features related to acquisitions & serials. This presentation has been made by François Charbonnier, that present new features sponsored by St Etienne university, and that should be submitted for inclusion in the next months.
- Solr. This topic has been covered by Julian Maurice, it shows what we made around Solr. This development will be for Koha 4.0, and there are only a few chances that it could be done before the end of 2012.
