March and April 2015 events: a little recap’

March and April are full with library events for us, this is why I decided to do a little recap in one blog post.

Hackfest Koha at BibLibre from March 2 to 6, 2015

To start, from March 2 to 6 the now well known Koha hackfest will be help in our office in Marseille. During a full week, Koha’s librarians and developers gather in one place to test, translate and improve Koha’s code and documentation. It is opened to everyone, librarians and developers. Bibliostar, Milan, Italy Mars 12 & 13, 2015

The Stelline convention is held every year in Milan, in March. It is one of the biggest librarian trade show in Italy. The Koha Gruppo Italiano will take advantage of it to organize a meetup with 50 librarians beisdes the convention. I will be there to help the organization and present Koha to Italian librarians, especially the SUDOC interface.

Documation March 18 & 19, 2015

We will be at the Documation tradeshow on March 18 and 19 help at the CNIT Paris La Défense. You will be able to meet AFI and us to discover or re-discover Koha, Bokeh, AFI-Nanook, Coral, Piwik or AFI-Multimedia.

Bokeh showcase on Thursday April 2nd, 2015

We organize with AFI a Bokeh showcase day in Paris on April 2nd, 2015 at the Mercure Paris Monty Opera. During this showcase, we will start with a Bokeh demo from 10am to 12am followed by a buffet lunch. Then, during the afternoon, everyone will be free to discover or have an in depth demonstration of one of our software, may it be Bokeh, Koha, AFI-Nanook, Coral, AFI-Multimedia, Piwik of Omeka.

Emtacl 2015 in Trondheim, Norway from April 20 to 22, 2015

To end my two months of travel, I will be in Trondheim in Norway for the emergin technologies in academic libraries tradeshow (Emtacl). We have reserved a stand where we will present Coral for the first time in an European tradeshow.
