In 2011 and in 2012, BibLibre organized a Koha hackfest in his office. Those hackfests were a success. All BibLibre staff were very happy to work for the community and with the community “irl”, and people that came were very happy too.
In 2012, 10 french librarians were here, we splitted in small groups or 4-5 persons, focusing on various tasks, either technical or non technical.
That’s why we decided to organize another hackfest in Marseille in 2013. The dates are now defined: it will be in march, 18th to 22nd.
I already know that 2 guys from ByWaterSolutions (USA) will come, so it won’t be a “european” hackfest, but a “hackfest in europe”. I hope Koha Release Manager will also be able to attend, and everybody is welcomed ! Just drop me a mail if you plan to join us.
