In this new Did you know, we will see how to automatically send an email to a patron when creating his account.
To start you just have to connect on the Koha Staff Interface (username: test and password: test) and then go to Koha Administration> Global system preferences > Patrons.
Once in the Patrons area of the system preferences, the interesting parts for today is called AutoEmailOpacUser.
Once this field activated, an email will be send automatically to newly created patron with their account details.
