In this new Did you know, we will see how to batch patron modification in Koha.

To start you just have to connect on the Koha Staff Interface (username: test and password: test) and then go to Tools > Patron lists.

Once in the Batch patron modification area of the Tools tab you will be able to modify your patrons by batch by either importing a file, modify an existing list or adding patrons cards numbers. Today, lets modify the list we created last time.

All the patrons in the list are displayed. You can decided to modify the entire list or only a few of them. The following form allow you to modify their reference library, their category, the socio-professional category, their registration date, their expiry date or add a circulation note.

In this example we will take these patrons from Floreville library to the Regional Library (Bibliothèque Départementale de Prêt). It just require to choose it in the drop down menu and click on save at the bottom of the page.

The next screen shows the result of your modification. We see that patrons have changed library and are now linked to the Regional Library.
