AFI OPAC 2.0 becomes Bokeh. First visible result of the merger between AFI and BibLibre, the latter joined the development Bokeh that becomes a community Open Source software.
Bokeh is at the same time:
- an enriched OPAC through its many connectors,
- an easy to administer CMS that allow to create complete websites,
- a content aggregator originating from external sources,
- a digital library.
It brings together in a single application features from 4 software that make it the first documentary portal 4G.
Bokeh is also evolving functionally with the imminent arrival of new modules:
- management activities and booking rooms especially useful for educational research libraries. Users can register online for various activities offered by the library.
- federated search,
- pre-registration online.
A large number of additional features have been added in the development plan set by the new team that welcomes all contributions.
